Our company seeks to promote positive stories of what's happening in Northern Ireland's communities through informed digital media and journalism. We have done that very successfully, running our participative democracy workshops with marginalised communities across NI and developing and distributing two large scale media project - "Community-21" and "Here-ish" - promoting the good work of charities, social enterprises, community groups and members of the BAME community over Covid and in the wake of Northern Ireland's centenary. The two projects reached an audience of 800,000 people combined. Our focus on improving the lives, well-being and empowerment of peole and communities in the grassroots is coming to fruition with each step we take to centre on positivity and reconciliation - two things missing in the mass media of today.
We held an photographic exhibition and panel discussin event as part of our "Here-ish" project, which allowed stakeholders, supporters of the project and our steering committee members to provide feedback on our progress and give us steering on where we can improve and further impact society in a positive way. An evaluation of this project and event also summarised our impact over the year and provided suggestions on where to take future projects.
