AvilaMedia has managed and distributed four media/journalism projects centred on peace building, community/good relations and social economy in Northern Ireland. It has also facilitated accreditations to 40-plus members of diverse communities across NI, building the capacity of the grassroots and building better relations between different communities. It has also began to branch out internationally and make connections across Europe and N. America to build good relations and promote peace building on wider stage.
AvilaMedia, as part of it's National Lottery Heritage Funded 'Here-ish' project, commissioned an evaluation of the project and of the companies impact on increasing good relations and promoting diversity across Northern Ireland, which included the consultation of all project participants and other social enterprise leaders.
