Report to the director on the preparation of the unaudited abbreviated accounts of Wilkinson & Wilkinson Limited for the year ended 31 December 2015 |
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the abbreviated accounts of Wilkinson & Wilkinson Limited for the year ended 31 December 2015 which comprise of the balance sheet and the related notes from the company’s accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Wilkinson & Wilkinson Limited, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter dated 12 June 2014. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the accounts of Wilkinson & Wilkinson Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Wilkinson & Wilkinson Limited, as a body, in this report in accordance with the requirements of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as detailed at http://www.accaglobal.com/factsheet163. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Wilkinson & Wilkinson Limited and its Board of Directors as a body for our work or for this report. |

Accounting policies |

Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).

Turnover |
|
Turnover represents the value, net of value added tax and discounts, of goods provided to customers and work carried out in respect of services provided to customers.
|

Depreciation |
|
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives. |

Deferred taxation |
|
Full provision is made for deferred taxation resulting from timing differences between the recognition of gains and losses in the accounts and their recognition for tax purposes. Deferred taxation is calculated on an un-discounted basis at the tax rates which are expected to apply in the periods when the timing differences will reverse. |
