It works predominantly with diverse communities across the North East. We are also part of the Newcastle University Oral History Collective. In 2021-22 we continued to work with Nexus and Newcastle University on the 'Metro Oral History Project', which culminated in an exhibition at the Common Room of the North. Our ‘Mutual Aid’ Oral History Project resulted in policy briefings for the County Councils Network (CCN) and the North of Tyne Combined Authority. We also presented findings at several conferences. We also continued to provide activities for young people in Byker as part of the Byker Children and Young People's Partnership (BCYPP), during the school holidays, including Best Summer Ever.
All our projects have steering groups to help with planning and implementation. Community projects are designed and co-produced with members of the actual communities they benefit.
