Service charge accounts |
The company had no income or expenditure in its own right as all transactions related to the maintenance of common parts of leasehold properties in accordance with the lease, with the service charges collected being held of trust for the purpose of section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. |
These transactions are not reflected in the financial statements of the company but are shown separately within service charge accounts presented to lessees. Accordingly, the company is a non-trading company. |

4. | TANGIBLE FIXED ASSETS |
In 1994 the company was granted a lease of the Blazer Court development by the developer to enable it to fulfil its obligations under the occupational leases and to properly perform its activities. |
The company's lease covers all those parts of the development, including the porter's flat, which are not included in occupational leases. |
No monetary value is placed thereon in these financial statements. |
Blazer Court Limited has an issued share capital of 200 shares of which 154 are owned by Eljayess Enterprises Limited, a company wholly owned by The Liberal Jewish Synagogue, the freeholder of Blazer Court. |
During 2020, Blazer Court Limited collected ground rents which were paid on to Eljayess Enterprises Limited, in accordance with the lease. |
